Do Christians think America was founded as a Christian nation?

As an ex-christian and former minister, I will say that every christian that I know believes that the USA was founded as a christian nation. They generally tend to believe that the founding fathers were of their own denomination, too (I'm being a little facetious, but only a little). This closed mindedness was one of the red flags that caused me to continue questioning things until I finally got some useful answers.

Ok so this year i had a huge crush on this guy and i finally told him but he didnt like me and i could literally feel my heart break! There was a sinking feeling where my heart is. and i thought heartbroken was just an expression but i really could feel my heart break! That was about 3-5 months ago and after i told him and got over it i was fine but still liked him a little. then now its back and i have no idea what to do! i think some guys are cute but then i find out that theyre like 4 years older than me! it's in my mindset that i don't want to get myself into a relationship, or in too many friendships for that matter. the reason for this is because i know i'll have a good chance of losing it anyway. it's occured to me that whenever i make a new "friend" or "girl friend", i lthe relationship is lost within a few months. I'm positive it's because i'm kinda boring and lame when it comes to having fun, so the friendship dies out and eventually we just never talk anymore...ever. (even with buddies). I have done many things to be more "alive" but more or less it's a fail. Conversations don't last more than a minute before we run out of things to talk about. So maybe not going through relationships or friendships anymore, and keep the few i have, is the best option??
